Senior Medical Writer

Job Summary

To support ongoing pharmaceutical and healthcare communications initiatives, the full-time Freelance Senior Medical Writer will develop, edit, and review high-quality medical and scientific content while working remotely in the EST time zone.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and review medical and scientific content for pharmaceutical communications
• Annotate and reference scientific materials accurately while conducting literature reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support Medical-Legal-Regulatory (MLR) review processes

Required qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (MD, PhD, or PharmD), with a Master's degree considered
• Prior agency experience as a medical writer in a medical communications environment
• Experience with scientific writing and MLR review processes
• Proven ability to interpret and summarize peer-reviewed medical literature
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
