Senior Medical Writer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Medical Writer will critically evaluate medical literature, write and edit clinical development documents, and manage timelines for writing assignments in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key responsibilities

• Critically evaluate and analyze medical literature to support study design and scientific rigor
• Write and edit various clinical documents, including protocols, study reports, and consent forms
• Interact independently with clients to coordinate project facets and mentor team members in the writing process

Required qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of regulatory and clinical medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in a scientific, medical, or clinical discipline
• Substantial experience as the lead author of clinical study protocols
• Exceptional writing and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Expert proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools
