Senior Medical Writer

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of medical writing strategies for clinical research projects, the full-time Senior Medical Writer will create high-quality medical publications and communications while working remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver medical publications from initial concept through final approval, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations
• Interpret complex clinical data and translate findings into clear, concise content while representing projects in internal and client meetings
• Support medical writing resource management, mentor junior writers, and contribute to business development efforts

Required qualifications

• A PhD, PharmD, or MD in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of medical writing experience, preferably in a medical publications or communications agency
• Proficiency in interpreting clinical trial data and familiarity with ICMJE and GPP guidelines
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing clinical documents and publications
• Experience with commonly used software, including MS Word and PowerPoint, and ability to mentor junior writers
