Senior Medical Writer

Job Summary

Developing high-quality medical content for clients, the remote Senior Medical Writer will create promotional materials, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure accuracy while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the content point person on assigned accounts, developing medically accurate content for various resources
• Conduct literature reviews to support promotional claims and deliver projects within established timelines
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, participating in meetings and contributing to new business proposals

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS in life sciences or English with relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or medical communications setting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
• Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadline-sensitive projects effectively
