Senior Membership Manager

Job Summary

Leading membership governance and engagement initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager of Membership will oversee recruitment, retention, and operational strategies to build and activate a powerful base of Black feminists, working remotely to support organizational goals and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage membership projects and governance plans that align with BFF's strategic objectives
• Implement strategies for member recruitment, engagement, and political education to enhance participation and collective power
• Coordinate membership programming and leadership development opportunities, ensuring alignment with Black feminist principles

Required Qualifications

• Grounded understanding of Black feminist political analysis and democratic governance
• Proven project management experience with complex, multi-phase initiatives
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to foster trust-based connections
• Experience in facilitating meetings, trainings, and collective decision-making processes
• Commitment to ongoing learning and political development
