Senior Merchandise Planner

Job Summary

Experienced merchandise planners will find a full-time salaried Senior Merchandise Planner opportunity focused on developing strategic merchandise plans and targets for assigned product categories to maximize sales and optimize inventory, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development of annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly merchandise plans in collaboration with the Planning Director and Merchants
• Lead the quarterly/seasonal Hindsight process and conduct in-season reforecasting of category plans
• Oversee analysis of business trends and partner with Merchants to propose business tactics based on current trends

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of merchandise planning experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in merchandise planning systems
