Senior Merchandise Planner
Job Summary
Focused on developing strategic merchandise plans, the full-time Senior Merchandise Planner will manage annual, seasonal, and monthly plans for assigned product categories while working remotely to maximize sales, optimize inventory, and increase margin through data analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the development of merchandise plans in collaboration with the Planning Director, Planners, and Merchants
- Lead the quarterly/seasonal Hindsight process and conduct in-season reforecasting of category plans
- Oversee analysis of business trends and partner with merchants to develop business tactics in response to current trends
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of merchandise planning experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven examples of process improvement
