Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer will focus on M365 Security, responding to level two issues and escalations from the Network Operations Center while providing exceptional support for managed client portfolios during second shift hours.

Key responsibilities

• React and resolve cases submitted or automatically alerted by monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot advanced issues and provide solution options and recommendations
• Conduct proactive performance assessments of clients' M365 environments, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of technical support and/or design and implementation experience with Microsoft 365 Collaboration technologies for a Managed Services Provider
• Experience with Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Exchange Online, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud solutions and management/administration
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript)
• At least one of the following certifications: MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, SC-900
