Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer will focus on M365 Security, responding to level two issues and escalations, while providing exceptional support for managed client portfolios during second shift hours from 4:30 pm ET to 1:30 am ET.
Key responsibilities
- React and resolve cases submitted or alerted by monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot advanced issues and provide solution options and recommendations
- Conduct proactive performance assessments of clients' M365 environments to identify optimization opportunities
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of technical support and/or design and implementation experience with Microsoft 365 Collaboration technologies
- Experience with Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Exchange Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management and Microsoft Intune
- Knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript)
- At least one relevant Microsoft certification (e.g., MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, SC-900)
