Senior Microsoft Consultant

Job Summary

To support a range of small businesses in maintaining IT environments, the full-time Senior Microsoft Consultant will troubleshoot and manage Windows Server and desktop operating systems, while working remotely in a virtual office setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and related applications
• Analyze and resolve issues related to system reliability, security, and functionality both on-site and remotely
• Design and implement IT architectures, including virtualized infrastructures and disaster recovery solutions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in desktop and server administration and IT infrastructure support
• 5+ years of consulting experience
• Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA) credentials
• Strong troubleshooting skills across networking layers 1 through 4
• Ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment
