Senior Microsoft Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the endpoint platform and broader M365 ecosystem, the full-time remote Senior Microsoft Engineer will ensure a fast, secure, and modern user experience while managing device provisioning, security, and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee endpoint management including provisioning, security, and retirement of devices using Intune, Autopilot, and the M365 suite
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation practices for configuration and policy deployment, ensuring modern engineering discipline
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to maintain endpoint security, focusing on hardening baselines, zero trust posture, and vulnerability remediation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience engineering Microsoft platforms in regulated environments, preferably in L&A, insurance, or financial services
• Expert-level knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and the M365 administrative stack
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Graph API, and building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of endpoint security measures including Defender for Endpoint and principles of zero trust
• Ability to stay current with industry trends, CVEs, and advancements in AI relevant to the digital workplace
