Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the deployment and integration of Microsoft Fabric infrastructure, the contract Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer will prepare environments, develop data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance enterprise analytics and data management capabilities in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure Microsoft Fabric environments within Azure for cloud-based data solutions
• Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines and transformations to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful testing, validation, and readiness for production deployment

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in data engineering or building large-scale data platforms
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse architectures and Data Factory pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services such as Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and/or PySpark, along with advanced SQL skills
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
