Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the deployment and integration of Microsoft Fabric infrastructure, the contract Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer will prepare and configure environments within Azure, develop scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful production readiness, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure Microsoft Fabric environments to support cloud-based data solutions
• Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines and platform components to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with stakeholders for testing, validation, and production deployment readiness

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in data engineering or building data platforms
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse architectures and Data Factory pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services such as Data Lake Storage and Synapse Analytics
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and/or PySpark, along with advanced SQL skills
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data
