Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on security engineering and compliance technology, the full-time Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer will design, implement, and enhance Microsoft Purview and its integrations across Microsoft 365 and Azure, ensuring the protection of sensitive taxpayer information while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Microsoft Purview and data-protection projects from requirements gathering through implementation and testing
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Microsoft Purview and its integrations with enterprise platforms
- Design and implement data classification, sensitivity labeling, and data loss prevention policies
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in security engineering, data governance, or compliance engineering
- Hands-on experience deploying and administering Microsoft Purview in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of data classification, governance, and compliance-control design
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID roles and access controls
- Ability to assess business and regulatory requirements and translate them into technical controls
