Senior Microsoft Purview Specialist
Job Summary
To support comprehensive data security solutions, the full-time Senior Microsoft Purview Specialist will lead remote project implementations focused on data protection, classification, and compliance using Microsoft Purview and related technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and configure data security solutions, including Data Classification and Data Loss Prevention, for various clients
- Develop new data protection policies and compliance reporting tailored to customer requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for mid and junior-level engineers while participating in ongoing support activities
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with security and compliance technologies, particularly Microsoft Purview
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Purview Center administration and configuration
- Hands-on experience with implementing sensitivity labels, retention policies, and DLP rules
- Current Microsoft certifications related to compliance and security or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Experience with compliance query languages and/or scripting, such as PowerShell
