Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain complex hybrid Exchange environments and manage user identity lifecycle across Microsoft 365 and Exchange systems
• Administer Proofpoint Email Protection services and respond to security alerts while collaborating with InfoSec teams on compliance policies
• Serve as a subject matter expert for M365 and messaging systems architecture, collaborating on hybrid infrastructure deployments and documenting systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 5+ years hands-on with M365 and Exchange platforms
• 3+ years of Proofpoint administration experience
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools including Purview, Defender, and Azure AD
• Strong experience with hybrid identity, SSO, certificate management, and PowerShell scripting
