Senior Middleware Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting critical enterprise infrastructure initiatives, the fully remote Senior Middleware Automation Engineer will design and implement automation solutions for middleware administration and application deployment, focusing on cloud and on-premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Automate middleware administration and application deployment processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to improve deployment efficiency and contribute to modernization efforts
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for environment provisioning

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Ansible automation, including playbook development and configuration management
• Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automation
• Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server administration
• Familiarity with middleware security measures and large-scale infrastructure modernization
