Senior Milk Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

Managing producer payrolls and billing processes for a diverse client portfolio, the full-time Senior Milk Accounting Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for multiple clients, ensuring accurate execution of payrolls, compliance with Federal Order regulations, and collaboration across various teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute producer payrolls and manage milk/component weights and data entry for multiple clients
• Validate payments against Federal Order regulations and maintain audit-ready records
• Serve as the lead communicator with all parties in the payroll process and contribute to Tier II payroll support

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Federal Order milk pooling and payment processes or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Advanced Excel skills with a strong preference for alphanumeric ten-key proficiency
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to trace transactions and draw sound conclusions
• Availability for on-call support as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
