Senior Mission Concept Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Mission Concept Engineer, this full-time position can be performed onsite in Pittsburgh, PA or remotely, focusing on defining end-to-end mission concepts for lunar technologies and influencing the development of next-generation lunar landers and spacecraft.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and review concepts and designs for lunar landers, rovers, and spacecraft
- Own the technical content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs
- Translate customer requirements into actionable product goals and system architectures
Required qualifications:
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline with 10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in space system development and systems engineering
- Experience developing technical content for proposals and customer presentations
- Strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments
- Experience authoring and decomposing mission and system-level requirements
