Job Summary

Driving program-based adoption of advanced technology, the full-time Senior Mission Manager - Clearance Required will engage with government program offices to identify mission challenges, translate needs into technical solutions, and convert successful pilots into funded programs, all while operating in a highly autonomous and ambiguous environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements with program offices to identify mission problems solvable by Vannevar Labs' technology
• Scope and shape program-based pilots, defining objectives, success criteria, and pathways to scale
• Convert successful pilots into sustained programs, assisting program offices in securing follow-on funding

Required qualifications

• 15-20+ years of experience in government or defense missions, typically as a retired O5/O6 or senior enlisted/civilian equivalent
• Deep expertise in a specific mission or technical domain such as cyber, ISR, or operational intelligence
• Strong ability to scope and pitch technical solutions to senior government stakeholders
• Proven experience navigating programmatic realities, including budgets and stakeholder dynamics
• Sufficient technical fluency to understand modern software systems and effectively partner with product and engineering teams
