Senior MLOps Engineer

Job Summary

Working fully remote in a full-time capacity, the Senior MLOps Engineer I will transform models from ML Scientists and Data Scientists into reliable production services, focusing on infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring across various industry verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with ML Scientists and Data Scientists to convert research code into scalable production services
• Coordinate with DevOps and Software Engineering teams on infrastructure and data pipeline needs, supporting automation initiatives
• Maintain and improve model registry and deployment pipelines while implementing safer release practices to minimize risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of experience in MLOps or related areas
• Solid knowledge of MLOps practices and experience working with ML researchers to translate workflows into production services
• Strong Python skills and experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), CI/CD tooling, and containerization/orchestration
• Experience building and operating production ML pipelines, including model versioning and release practices
• Familiarity with computer vision or geospatial ML pipelines and experience with relational databases and API integrations is a plus
