Senior Mobile Engineer (Android)
Job Summary
To support the launch of a new app, the full-time Senior Mobile Engineer (Android) will take ownership of complex features, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable software solutions in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead code reviews and set quality standards to enhance code quality across the team
- Proactively address technical debt while collaborating on feature development and system improvements
- Monitor production services and efficiently resolve critical issues with minimal support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on native mobile development
- Advanced proficiency in native Android development using Kotlin
- Experience managing CI/CD processes and using tools like GitHub Actions
- Strong background in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices with an emphasis on automation
