Senior Mobile Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing mobile engineering organization, the full-time Senior Mobile Engineering Manager will oversee the evolution of mobile engineering, shaping architecture and best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment based in Palo Alto, CA or Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 10+ mobile engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and ownership
• Drive the delivery of high-quality mobile experiences for fintech and marketplace products while balancing short-term execution with long-term investments
• Define and execute the mobile engineering strategy, shaping architecture and technical standards as the product portfolio grows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading mobile engineering teams
• Strong background in mobile engineering with expertise in React Native development
• Experience in defining mobile architecture at scale and evaluating native vs. cross-platform approaches
• Proven success in scaling engineering organizations through technical and organizational changes
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development and automation
