Job Summary
Supporting enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives, the full-time Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer will develop and maintain mission and operational models, conduct simulation analyses, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the U.S. Coast Guard's digital engineering capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute Digital Transformation and Engineering implementation plans for Coast Guard initiatives
- Create and maintain mission, process, and system models using SysML and UAF/UAFML modeling languages
- Conduct modeling and simulation analyses to support operational planning and modernization efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 6-10 years of experience; a master's degree may substitute for experience
- Experience with digital engineering, systems modeling, and operational analysis
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture artifacts and data architecture concepts
- Experience facilitating stakeholder engagements and translating operational requirements into technical solutions
- U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust
