Senior MongoDB Data Engineer

Job Summary

Providing expert-level MongoDB database design and maintenance, the full-time Senior MongoDB Data Engineer will manage resilient MongoDB infrastructure across on-premises and AWS cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters across various environments
• Automate MongoDB deployment and maintenance tasks using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Collaborate with development teams on MongoDB schema design and query optimization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of Database Administration experience with at least 3 years of hands-on MongoDB experience
• Expert-level knowledge of MongoDB architecture and performance tuning
• Experience managing MongoDB in high-availability production environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Linux/Unix operating systems
