Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Expert

Job Summary

To support the Media Freedom Programmes, the remote Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Expert will design, manage, and implement monitoring, evaluation, results, and learning systems, ensuring quality and coherence across multiple projects while leading the organization's learning agenda.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Monitoring, Results, Evaluation and Learning (MREL) framework, ensuring its application across various programmes
• Design and implement results frameworks and annual reporting plans, guiding data collection and evaluation processes
• Ensure the integrity and accessibility of programme data, while supporting project staff in developing data collection tools

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior MREL or programme learning role within an international NGO or media development context
• Demonstrated experience in designing and operationalizing M&E frameworks across multi-country programmes
• Strong track record in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and reporting for donor-funded programmes
• Proficiency in data management systems and survey tools such as Airtable and SurveyMonkey
• Experience working in or with Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Arab Region is highly desirable
