Senior Mortgage Funding Specialist

Job Summary

As a key player in the mortgage process, the full-time Senior Mortgage Funding Specialist will ensure accurate and timely closing of mortgage loans while working remotely from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, or California, collaborating with internal teams, settlement agents, and borrowers to resolve complex scenarios and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage loan file closing activities, ensuring accuracy and funding readiness of Closing Disclosures and closing packages
• Respond to inquiries regarding loan closing and funding, resolving complex issues and discrepancies related to documentation and fees
• Apply regulatory and investor guidelines to ensure compliant closings and maintain high-quality documentation standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage funding, loan closing, or transaction processing
• Demonstrated understanding of mortgage closing and funding processes
• Ability to manage complex transactions and resolve non-routine issues effectively
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
