Senior Mortgage Processor

Job Summary

Managing the processing of real estate loans, the full-time Senior Mortgage Processor will review documentation for completeness, pre-screen loan applications, and communicate with members and team members in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review file documentation for completeness and manage a pipeline of assigned loans to meet production targets
• Prepare necessary documentation for loans, including regulatory disclosures, and coordinate with underwriters for final approvals
• Communicate effectively with members and internal teams regarding loan processing status and requirements

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a real estate loan processor
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• Current knowledge of real estate lending criteria (FNMA, FHLMC)
• Proficiency in basic applications in a Windows-based environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes in processes and technology
