Senior Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Non-QM/Jumbo Mortgage Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residential mortgage loan applications for compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze borrower financials, credit reports, and property evaluations to assess risk
• Collaborate with loan officers and processors to expedite the underwriting process

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
• At least 2 years of hands-on underwriting experience with Non-QM and/or Jumbo loans
• Proficiency in Encompass is highly preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
• DE and VA designations are a plus
