Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth reviews of income, assets, and borrower profiles, including complex self-employed cash flow analysis
• Review appraisals for accuracy and ensure compliance with corporate credit policy and regulations
• Provide clear decisions on loan approvals or denials and articulate reasoning to stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience (FHA, VA, Conventional, and Bond)
• Active DE (CHUMS) and SAR/LAPP designations are required
• High level of comfort with modern automated underwriting systems (DU/LP/GUS)
• High integrity and outstanding work ethic with the ability to meet production standards
