Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower information, including credit, income, and assets for thorough evaluations
• Review appraisals to ensure compliance with guidelines and validate property value
• Manage the credit decision process from initial submission to closing, while monitoring the mortgage pipeline

Required Qualifications

• DE and SAR designations required
• 5 years of mortgage-related and underwriting experience
• Two or four-year college degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Deep knowledge of agency and government underwriting guidelines
• Experience with analyzing financial documents and using underwriting software such as DU and LP
