Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower information, including credit, income, and assets, for thorough evaluations
• Review appraisals to ensure compliance with guidelines and validate property values
• Monitor the mortgage pipeline to ensure timely closing dates are met

Required Qualifications

• DE and SAR designations are mandatory
• Minimum of 5 years of mortgage-related and underwriting experience
• Two or four-year college degree or equivalent professional experience in business or finance
• Deep knowledge of FHA, VA, and agency underwriting guidelines
• Experience with analyzing financial documents such as pay stubs, W-2s, and tax returns
