Senior Motion Designer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior Motion Designer will lead the creation of motion-first assets and collaborate on various design projects, working remotely to elevate the Qualified brand through sophisticated animation and video.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the creation of motion-first assets from storyboarding and concepting to hands-on animation and final polish
• Design and animate brand and product content including launch videos, social clips, and product demos
• Collaborate closely with writers, designers, marketers, and product teams to craft compelling, visually rich stories

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in motion design, visual design, or art direction, preferably in a fast-moving tech company
• A standout portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion and design work
• Strong hands-on skills in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Premiere
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and transitions
• Creative and proactive, comfortable moving from ideation to execution with minimal oversight
