Senior Motor Applications Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the sales team with complex industrial electric motor and drive applications, the full-time Senior Motor Applications Specialist will manage quotations for large and medium-voltage motors and drives, develop technical solutions, and create professional quote packages, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex quotations for large and medium-voltage motors and drives from initial RFQ through order handoff
• Support sales teams with motor selection, application questions, and technical problem-solving
• Develop polished, professional quote packages that present proposed solutions and technical data clearly

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the electric motor or drive industry preferred; 5+ years will be considered for strong candidates
• Strong working knowledge of industrial electric motors and applications, particularly medium-voltage systems
• Experience with large motors, obsolete equipment replacements, and manufacturer cross-referencing
• Ability to interpret technical documents, including motor nameplates and specifications
• Familiarity with VFD applications and comfort using CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office tools
