Senior MuleSoft Administrator

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Senior MuleSoft Administrator will lead the administration, governance, security, and operational management of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring reliability and scalability while enabling API-led connectivity in a 100% remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components and manage hybrid/on-premises Mule runtime environments
• Implement enterprise API governance standards and manage security integrations, ensuring compliance with VA security requirements
• Monitor platform health, perform capacity planning, and automate operational tasks using various tools and scripting languages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years administering MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience with Mule 4.x, CloudHub, API Manager, and REST/SOAP services
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, and enterprise API security
• Working knowledge of Azure and AWS networking concepts and experience automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines
