Senior MuleSoft Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a major Department of Veterans Affairs enterprise integration initiative, the full-time Senior MuleSoft Engineer will administer, engineer, and ensure the operational excellence of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage API governance, platform administration, and production operations for the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to implement enterprise integration strategies
- Ensure the stability, scalability, security, and performance of the integration platform across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years specifically in administering or engineering the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in an enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components such as Mule 4.x, CloudHub, and API Manager
- Experience with enterprise authentication and API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and SAML
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines and enterprise integration platforms in production environments
