Senior Multi-Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Multi-Cloud Engineer will manage and optimize cloud solutions across multiple environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, while collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality application performance and cost efficiency for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud services and orchestration pipelines to support application development lifecycle automation
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate multiple daily deployments and optimize application performance
• Serve as the main technical contact for applications, identifying opportunities for support, modernization, and innovation

Required qualifications

• Experience with multiple cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
• Knowledge of cloud-based security tools and best practices
• Understanding of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and cloud technologies
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
