Senior Multi-Family Truss Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Multi-Family Truss Designer to convert sales orders into mechanical drawings for complex multi-family roof and floor truss designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and estimate layouts, cutting lists, and material lists for assigned jobs
• Utilize MiTek and other design software to create optimized project designs
• Maintain detailed records and ensure efficient production in accordance with plant capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family truss design
• Two-year technical degree or applicable experience
• Experience with MiTek software preferred
• Advanced CAD and architectural drafting knowledge
• General knowledge of the construction industry
