Senior MUMPS Developer

Job Summary

Supporting VA healthcare application development, the remote Senior MUMPS Developer will design, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain MUMPS routines and VistA functionality to enhance pharmacy and clinical system workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, test, and maintain MUMPS routines for VistA-based applications
• Analyze software requirements and user-reported issues to implement appropriate MUMPS code changes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve application-related issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on MUMPS development experience
• Experience with VistA or other MUMPS-based healthcare information systems
• Ability to analyze existing code, identify defects, and validate software changes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
