Senior Natural Gas Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Natural Gas Analyst to join their Research team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and refine natural gas demand forecasting models
• Develop and manage storage models tracking injection/withdrawal dynamics
• Monitor and interpret daily/weekly fundamentals and prepare market briefs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative science discipline
• 4-8+ years of experience in natural gas market analysis or commodity research
• Experience building and maintaining demand forecasting and/or storage models
• Strong proficiency in Excel and knowledge of programming/data tools (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
• Deep understanding of North American natural gas fundamentals and market dynamics
