Senior NERC Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives in renewable energy, the contract Senior NERC Compliance Analyst will lead NERC compliance activities across gas, solar, and wind generation facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan, while collaborating with regulators and operations teams, and ensuring precise compliance documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of NERC compliance activities as the subject matter expert for gas, solar, and wind generation facilities
- Prepare, track, and analyze technical records and modeling reports to maintain compliance evidence for regulatory submissions
- Monitor compliance status and manage corrective action plans to resolve discrepancies in collaboration with regulators
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 5-8+ years of utility electrical experience
- Experience in regulatory affairs or compliance
- Knowledge of plant protection systems, inverters, and transmission interconnections
- Experience in monitoring compliance and managing corrective actions
