Senior .NET API Developer

Job Summary

To support critical business operations, the full-time remote Senior .NET API Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and APIs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers, with occasional quarterly travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and secure RESTful APIs using the Microsoft .NET platform
• Lead the full software development lifecycle and identify opportunities for improving application performance and development processes
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, particularly with C# and the Microsoft .NET platform
• Strong experience in designing and supporting RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience integrating enterprise applications through APIs and service-oriented architectures
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and versioning strategies
• Experience working within Agile software development environments
