Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior .NET Application Developer will design and build scalable software applications, APIs, and microservices for a large financial services client while tackling complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance high-quality, scalable software applications using the Microsoft technology stack
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems while optimizing performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into secure technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of professional application or software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, and the .NET ecosystem
• Experience building scalable applications, web services, and RESTful APIs
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization
