Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of modern applications, the contract Senior .NET Developer will design, build, and modernize applications in Microsoft Azure while working remotely, with a focus on integrating AI solutions and cloud-native architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support modern applications in Microsoft Azure, collaborating with County staff
• Implement cloud-native architectures using .NET Core/.NET 8, C#, and various Azure services
• Modernize legacy .NET applications and integrate AI-powered solutions, utilizing tools like GitHub Copilot and Azure DevOps

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and cloud-native development
• Strong experience with Azure services, microservices, and API security
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with GitHub or Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of SQL, Cosmos DB, and modern UI frameworks such as Blazor or React
