Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a hybrid role in Rockville, MD, who will design, build, and modernize applications in Microsoft Azure, working part-time with a focus on integrating cloud-native architectures and AI-powered solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and modernize legacy .NET applications using .NET Core/.NET 8 and Azure services
• Implement AI-powered solutions and integrate Azure services such as App Services and Azure OpenAI
• Collaborate with County staff to ensure effective knowledge transfer and project execution

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and cloud-native development
• Strong experience with Azure services, microservices, and API security
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and GitHub Copilot
• Experience modernizing .NET Framework applications to .NET 8
• Solid understanding of SQL, Cosmos DB, and modern UI frameworks (Blazor/React/Angular)
