Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Senior .NET Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable .NET-based APIs in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core while implementing secure authentication protocols
• Develop, package, and deploy API solutions through automated CI/CD pipelines and manage services using Azure API Management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API designs, integration strategies, and testing approaches, while troubleshooting production issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with 7+ years in Microsoft .NET technologies
• Advanced experience developing RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
• Strong experience with secure authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, or similar protocols
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, API deployment, Azure API Management, and software testing methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within Agile software development teams
