Senior .NET Engineer
Job Summary
To support a global payments technology company, the full-time Senior .NET Engineer will lead the migration of legacy applications into cloud-ready microservices, build high-performance RESTful Web APIs, and design relational data models while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration and redesign of legacy application functionality into scalable, cloud-ready microservices
- Build high-performance RESTful Web APIs using C#, .NET Core, and the ASP.NET framework
- Analyze system requirements and troubleshoot high-volume transaction bottlenecks
Required qualifications
- Senior-level proficiency in C#, .NET Core (8+), ASP.NET, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
- Proven track record modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications into scalable, cloud-ready services
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server and Azure SQL, including database design and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipeline management
- Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
