Senior .NET Migration Engineer

Job Summary

To modernize a large .NET Framework WebForms application, the full-time Senior .NET Migration Engineer will design and build AI-assisted migration workflows, collaborating with architecture, product, and engineering teams while working remotely or from the Sydney or Brisbane offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teams to understand existing applications and migration goals, assessing legacy code and user journeys
• Design migration patterns for moving WebForms functionality to modern .NET, evaluating AI tools to reduce manual effort
• Build and refine workflows that analyze legacy code and produce modern .NET migration candidates, ensuring quality and security

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with .NET technologies
• Experience with legacy .NET Framework applications, especially ASP.NET WebForms
• Proven experience modernizing applications to current .NET technologies like ASP.NET Core and Razor Pages
• Practical experience using AI coding tools and automation in engineering delivery
• Familiarity with automated testing and validation strategies for migration processes
