Job Summary
To support a federal agency's network infrastructure, the full-time Senior Network Architect will design and implement LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based systems while managing advanced support issues and overseeing the network architect staff in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deploy network infrastructure, including evaluating hardware and software solutions
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain network documentation
- Support and manage VoIP systems and ensure secure communication channels across the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or information technology
- 7 to 10 years of experience in the networking and communications infrastructure field
- CISCO Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure and CCIE Enterprise Wireless certifications
- CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification
- Experience managing network security measures and ensuring compliance with security standards
