Senior Network Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a mission-critical program, the full-time Senior Network Automation Engineer will modernize and maintain the organization's network core, focusing on multi-vendor network node management, automation through scripting, and ensuring network security in a flexible remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provision, manage, and maintain lifecycle operations for multi-vendor network nodes including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Brocade
- Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks for network automation and write operational scripts in Python, PowerShell, and YAML
- Perform root-cause analysis on complex technical incidents and continuously monitor network telemetry to optimize performance
Required qualifications
- B.S. Degree and 7+ years of prior relevant experience
- IAT Level II Certification
- Functional understanding of advanced multivendor routing and switching network environments
- Proficiency in modern scripting languages for network task automation, including Python, PowerShell, and YAML
- Active Secret Clearance or higher
